One of the distinctives of the Charlotte Mason Institute is a commitment to connect the educational insights of Charlotte Mason with current research and practice. This multi-authored monograph series, commissioned in connection with the Charlotte Mason Centenary, is designed to highlight and explore the continuing educational and leadership relevance of Charlotte Mason (1842–1923) through the collective contributions of the Armitt Museum and Library, the University of Cumbria, the Charlotte Mason Institute, and other scholars and practitioners worldwide.

In anticipation of the Charlotte Mason centenary year, 24 scholars from three countries came together and collectively authored 18 individual monographs—short books—considering aspects of the continued relevance of Charlotte Mason’s educational philosophy, practice, life, and leadership.
